Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Fifteen (15) hours was spent in prayer and worship to the Almighty God by forty two (42) volunteers of the Giftings and Callings Camp at the 2017 maiden volunteers retreat. It was held from 6th to 8th January, 2018 at the Good News Theological College, Oyibi in the Kpone Katamanso District Assembly of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
Volunteers converged at the venue on 6th January, 2017 which coincidentally was the birthday of one of the
founders, Vice president Dr. Nana Baah Gjan. Prayers were said and volunteers were welcomed after which they were feted to commemorate Dr. Gyan’s birthday. At 6am on 7th January, 2017, volunteers converged at the Conference Hall and spent the time in Bible study on the topic “Running the race-Going all out” led by Yehowada Odoi, who encouraged volunteers to stay focused in their walk with Christ and avoid distractions. Joel Degadzor led a time of worship to the Almighty God after which the President of GC Camp, Kafui Ntow welcomed the team and implored all to open up and be receptive to what God had in store for them.
Vice President of GC Camp, Kenneth Annoh gave an exposition of to the years theme “Going All Out” and encouraged members to expend their energy on the things of God. A prayer marathon on the topic “Grace to Increase Level of Anointing and Operations of Our Giftings and Callings” was led by Martin Foli. The topic “Going all out in prayer” was led by Dr.Gyan.
He called on all present to commune with God at all times and shared some personal experiences. He also urged volunteers to have a disciplined prayer life. Kafui Ntow who preached on the topic “Going all out in purity-A vessel of honour” entreated all to be holy as “God’s GPS is sensitive to holiness”.
A video session bearing practical lessons from Indian Prophet Sadhu Salveraj was held, after which Brian and his team from Somanya led in a time of worship to the Almighty God. Kenneth Annoh, unveiled the action plan for 2017
The plan comprises twenty two (22) campaigns includes ten (10) street crusades, five (5) Senior High School (SHS) crusades, three (3) tertiary campus crusades and four outreach crusades. Kafui Ntow ended the 15 hour session at 9pm with an impartation service where God’s glory was manifested. Sunday morning, 8th January, 2017 was spent in a short time of prayer after which volunteers were dispersed to “Go All Out”.
