Baptism is one of the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. It is simple in concept but has often been a point of division among believers. Some believe that both sprinkling, and immersion are valid forms of baptism, while others hold that only baptism by immersion is scripturally correct. There are also differing views on whether children should be baptized or whether baptism should take place only when someone is old enough to make a personal confession of faith in Christ.
This study examines the doctrine of water baptism through the lens of Scripture, seeking a deeper understanding of what God’s Word truly teaches.
